Jade Floral Carved Pillar
This pillar is the most elaborately carved piece in the collection — every surface worked, no plane left plain. The floral motifs spiral upward in the style of imperial lacquerware, where surface treatment was itself a form of value. Pale jade wax was chosen to let the carving, not the colour, carry the weight.
